Up-swing & Down-swing

Suraj Prakash(student) narrates his boisterous experience of selling Gandhiji's books at the Income Tax office. He wittily says,"It was the best place to sell because the people who came to pay taxes have money and the officers working there also have money, so there's money on both the sides of the counter." One of the officers sarcastically said,"We are all thieves here, you won't be able to sell at this place." Another Sikh official rhetorically asked,"Why did Mahatma Gandhi take so long to get us independence? He further said that after World War II, there were only 15,000 Britishers left in India who could be easily thrown away in 1918.
A person who came to file his IT return sarcastically remarked saying,"These books should be read by people sitting in inside."
Suraj says's that you should not wait for the customer to come to you, it is you who should go to the customer!

Another student selling a localite comments that, "This picture is more about the prospect than the product or the proposer. It is the prospect who needs to become the center of the business transaction.

In the midst of all this excitement and star performance by the students, the students have also to go through down-swings where Rahul Singh Rajput(student) says's," It is not always easy to approach strangers and strike a conversation with them. Moreover to get them listening to us, convince them and make a sale. Phew! All of this is indeed efforts put in." He further adds on saying,"Though we feel butterflies in our stomach and wonder how to go about, we are able to pull it off with satisfaction of having accomplished something at the end of the day."

Responsibility and accountability is what the students at Chetana college are learning in this activity.
