Book selling activity

The introduction of manual training will serve a double purpose in a poor country like ours. It will pay for the education of our children and teach them an occupation, on which they can fall back in after life, if they choose, for earning a living. Such a system must make our children self-reliant. Nothing will demoralize the nation so much as that we should learn to despise labour.
                                                                                                                                     Mahatma Gandhi

Management educators globally are concerned about teaching learning methods. Emphasis is on learner involvement. Project Jagruti is Chetana’s contribution to practical learning approaches. The promotion of Gandhian literature enables hands on experiential learning. They also value the teachings of one of the greatest management gurus for all times.

The students are to sell the Books :
1. The Story of My Experiments with Truth
2. Gandhi CEO, Authored by Alan Axelford, a British scholar. The book discusses the relevant Gandhian leadership in current business management.
3. Timeless Inspirator, Articles on Gandhian methods by eminent people like Dr Abhay Bang, Dr Anil Gupta, Sachin Tendulkar, Anu Aga and others. The book is edited by Dr Raghunath Malshekar

Here's where the students get first hand experience on selling, marketing and learning management fundas outside classroom.
