Excited about selling like a bubbling book!

Rediscover Gandhiji to realize that he is more than somebody you read about in history books in school. We learn Maslow, Kotler, McClelland etc...Why not Gandhian management? It's all about "more for more with less".
A fundamental element about selling is to do your homework and learn to prospect the right person.
The students of Chetana college are practicing what is preached. A group of students approached a corporate to set up a  stall to display and sell Gandhiji's books. Since they were asked to wait at the office, they went around the building, checked the canteen and tried to locate places with maximum foot falls where they scanned the vicinity thus planning ahead. They later spoke to the corporate personnel about the Jagruti project and seeked permission for the same.Though they had to wait for 40 minutes before they could talk to the corporate officials, it was an opportunity for them to scan the environment, survey their prospective market and planning thus implementing effective time management.
Another group had put up a stall at a management institute's event where they went for 3 days at different times because the students realized that different people need different approaches thus learning about segmentation and targeting. Even Gandhiji reached out to all segments appropriately.

Rushabh Chitalia(student) says, "Its not just about selling books but its about what value you are adding to yourself".He adds on and says, " It is always said OWN up the task you are doing, we believed it and it was proved in our sales pitch and distribution of books".

Suraj Jobanputra (student) says,"Its not about how many? Its about how you can!!! Its the passion that drived us!" So it did make the students realize the responsibility of leadership.
