Commended, reprimanded and continuous learning

Commended, reprimanded and learning in the bargain, a rolling process!Integrity and honesty occupy a pivotal part of the pie as far as ethics in business are concerned. The students of Chetana Institute are gradually being influenced by Gandhian philosophy. Little did they know that Gandhian principles is becoming part of their lifestyle.

"Honesty is the conerstone of all success, without which confidence and ability to perform shall cease to exist.         Mary Kay Ash

In the midst of this, everyone does face cross roads some day or the other. We'll look at how students have had to face challenging questions posed by few people whom they sold Gandhiji's books, however the students dealt with wisdom yet being honest.
Kashyap Patel (student) narrates his few incidents where the customers put the ball in his court. Kashyap happend to sell Gandhiji's autobiography at the traffic signal since his rickshaw was also waiting at the signal. The customer asked him, "Would you follow Gandhian principles if a car banged your car at the signal?" A few others, blame Gandhiji for certain upheavals in the country whose repercussions we still battle with. On this Kashyap taking a deep breath said, " Itna sunaya, lekin book nahi liya". So Kashyap did face bitter questions from people where they also asked, "If Gandhian philosophy actually works in today's real life?" On the other hand, he was also commended for the good job he was doing.

Students were also asked, "If Anna Hazare follows Gandhian philosophy, why is the Lokpal bill not passed yet?" On this our students answered, "Every fruit has it's season." Now that's an apt answer, thank God wisdom prevailed!

It is said that, "When learnt the hard way, is the best learning" and "Experience is the best teacher". Kashyap learnt a few underlying principles of marketing after making a mistake. He was asked by a customer a question from the book but Kashyap was unable to answer a certain question. On this the customer remarked, "The first principle of marketing is to know your product very well."
